From May 23rd to 26th  2023, Labena endorsed the 1st European conference GREEN – EGC 2023 organized by the International Association of Environmental Scientists and Professionals (IAESP) and Osijek Faculty of Food Technology, held in Vodice, Croatia.

Organised to contribute to sustainability, mitigate the climate crisis and fulfill the goals of the European Green Deal through knowledge exchange, program of the conference included oral and poster presentations of scientists and environmental protection experts. Labena’s dr. Ante Bubić held the presentation  “Environmental DNA technology – fast and effective tests for Water Quality Assesment”.

GREEN conference proved to be great opportunity to exchange experiences and innovations from a wide range of topics related to green economy, green technologies, environmental education and was completed with joint visit to Krka National Park, one of the most beautiful Croatian parks with 7 magnificent waterfalls, a true national treasure.
